Julie Hoey

 
 

Biographies

Julie joined Mission Scotland as a board member in August 2009.  Currently on maternity leave, Julie works for the Scottish Government, most recently in the Strategy Unit and previously in lifelong learning and area regeneration policies.

She is interested in finding ways to make whole life discipleship a reality in people's lives, replacing the sacred/secular divide which limits and distorts what we believe and share with our friends.  Her passions include making things happen, connecting people, sunshine and eating good food in good company.

Julie lives in Glasgow with her husband Stephen and their son, Sam.  They are members of Stonelaw Parish Church in Rutherglen.
